This site is brought to you by George Collazo, his wife Jeannette Valle & Photos of Puerto Rico.com. George is an accomplished photographer native from the island of Puerto Rico and currently living in Minnesota. George’s photos have been published in over 50 electronic and printed material in local travel and tourism, as well as enviromental and travel magazines overseas.
This is a small showcase of George’s work thru Nikkor lenses and cameras. This is not as website endorsed by Nikon USA, Nikon Japan or any affiliate. Nor our comments on gear are scientific tests but rather personal experience in the field with the Nikon system. We are including pictures with photo gear we actually own or have used in the past. We’ve got repeated questions from visitors of Photos of Puerto Rico.com; they wanted to know the cameras and lenses used in many of our pictures; so the ”What’s in our bag” section was born. To keep the subject relevant, we decided to aquire this domain for the benefit of our visitors. Probably you’ll see pictures here that have been featured on our other site thus bearing different watermarks. New pictures and comments will be posted here to keep Photos of Puerto Rico relevant to our island.
As a very important note:
Every now and then I post here manufacturer’s specs. They are not meant to be my personal opinion much less a review. Some folks call my experiences with my Nikon and other gear ‘reviews’. They are not to me a review perse, they are more like my personal point of view about X or Y product. I happen to come across a lot of Nikon photography equipment, some users from the Spanish site kindly provide their gear to hear my opinion though I don’t consider myself as a ”pro” reviewer, again, just my experience with it and point of view. For the most part, I share my opinions with my own and/or provided cameras and lenses. I do NOT, I repeat, I do NOT write about stuff I have never laid my hands on to gain better ranking and/or traffic to this site, this site is a hobby and I’m not looking to make a living out of it, though a few bucks from affiliates and ads go to hosting and software involved to publish it. I’m a human and reserve the right to be wrong, if by any chance I’m mistaken, feel free to let me know my dear friend.
